Anchored in the Alberta Urban Municipal Associations acclaimed Municipal Sustainability Planning process, this conference has been designed to help delegates build the understanding, acquire the tools, and develop the relationships our communities need to create successful pathways to sustainability.

Featuring keynote speakers Preston Manning, Mark Anielski, and Don Hill, we will also have planning workshops in each of the five dimensions of sustainability; social, economic, environmental, cultural and governance.

On the ground sustainability planning will be highlighted through community  presentations from Mayor Linda Bruce from the City of Airdrie, Mayor Truper McBride of the Town of Cochrane, Nina Gales from the Town of Olds, Gary Buxton from the Town of Canmore, and Meredith Walker from Strathcona County.
